2009 US Finn Association Rankings
Here are
the 2009 US Finn Association Rankings. The Bylaws rank one
category 1 and two category 2 events (category 3 events can be
substituted for category 2 at 1/2 value). At the 2009 US Finn
Association AGM, the Bylaws were amended to extend the
qualifying period until May 31, 2010. Remaining category 1
events include all ISAF World Cup Regattas (including Miami OCR)
and the Europeans. Category 2 events include Finn Midwinter's,
Mardi Gras Regatta, ABYC OCR and the Pacific Coast
Championships. Category 3 events include all other Finn
regattas with 6+ competitors.
We understand that the US
Finn Association will be allotted 14 slots for the 2010 Finn
Gold Cup, plus the National Secretary, Zach Railey, a Rookie and
all Juniors.
With most of the boats measured under the new minimum weight rule,
please
email me your new certificate in a PDF format.
I will setup a database for each boat and attach the certificate.

What a weekend !!!
32 boats met the craziest weather
Lake Pontchartrain could muster.
On Friday it was light and fluky.
On Saturday, they say 12-15 with lumpy seas.
On Sunday, it blew in the high teen with lots of gusts and rain at
the end.
